Finally!! I can safely announce the release of my latest album Cardinal - releasing on Bandcamp and JoelVeena.com on February 7! I've been working on this one for awhile and I am proud to say this is my best work to date. I made it to be listened to from start to finish. There's a full length raga with alaap and all, new original electronic fusion, some previously released tracks ('Reminder' and 'Never Too Late') with a fresh master and tighter mix and some new pieces that fall in between. Vidhi's voice is there! Sung poetry and bonus tracks too.

You can support the release by pre-ordering or buying the release on Feb 7 from Bandcamp or JoelVeena.com - that is huge for me as all of my albums are self-produced and this one being the best so far, has also been the most expensive (not helped by my foray into the public market of mastering engineers, thank goodness we got Tom back on the tracks) - purchasing from Bandcamp or my website are the only ways to get the bonus tracks and special liner notes I designed. So please do that.

As for streaming...I am planning on releasing to most of the streaming platforms and will announce the date after Feb 7; India will be the first to see streaming available because that's where the vast majority of my streaming listeners are located. Honestly, these platforms are paying me so little (and it keeps going down year after year while my listeners are at an all time high) that it's not making sense for me to prioritize it in 2025. And Spotify is out completely unless and until they get their AI ghost artist issue under control. 

My music has always been and will remain highly accessible however. Bandcamp also allows listeners to stream music for free, without ads. And I have over 100 videos available for free on YouTube.
